The Connecticut Mirror is a nonprofit, nonpartisan digital news publication that provides comprehensive reporting on Connecticut state and local politics. With topics ranging from education to environment, The Mirror aims to increase the level of civic engagement among state residents so that they can affectively participate in public policy. In 2018, I served as a general assignment reporting intern, where I covered a wealth of subjects, including Governor Malloy's bump stock ban, the death of a teen at a state psychiatric facility and the subsequent investigations, the 2018 Midterm elections, and more.
